We take the time to get to know both our cats and the people interested in adopting them: every cat is different, and understanding their personality and needs, as well as your home and lifestyle, helps us find a match that works for everyone.
We want to make sure that every adoption is the beginning of a happy life together, for both you and your new furry friend.
Our adoption fee is £135 per cat or kitten, which includes:
- Vaccinations
- Neutering
- Microchipping
- FIV and FeLV testing
- Flea and worm treatment
- 6 weeks of free Agria insurance

Blue is a lovely 8-year-old boy who spent almost a year confined to a single room on his own. Since arriving at Wellcat, he’s been slowly rediscovering what it means to feel safe and loved.
Now, he’s looking for a quiet, patient forever home where he can continue building his confidence and finally enjoy the life he deserves.

Marsha is a lovely white cat that arrived at Wellcat pregnant, and gave birth to the MacDonald’s litter. Now that her kittens are all grown up, she’s been neutered and it’s finally her turn to find a caring forever home and start a new chapter of her own surrounded by love.
Tammy was found living as a stray with her little kitten, Tori. Now safe at Wellcat, this lovely mum is ready for a fresh start! She’s looking for a loving forever home where she and her daughter can stay together.
Little Tori had a difficult start in life, arriving at Wellcat with severe anaemia caused by fleas. Thankfully, she’s now fully recovered and ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl is looking for a loving family who can welcome both her and her mum, Tammy.
McMuffin is the little adventurer of the MacDonald’s litter.
She is always ready to explore, and she is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue her adventures alongside her brother McNugget
McNugget is the only boy of the MacDonald’s litter. He never says no to a good game, especially when his favourite squeaky mouse is involved. This playful little boy is looking for a forever home alongside his sister McMuffin.
Frank and his sister Nancy were considered feral when they first arrived at Wellcat, but you’d never guess it looking at him now.
He’s grown into a lovely, affectionate boy who enjoys a good cuddle. Now, he’s looking for a calm, loving forever home where he can finally settle down.

Nancy is a gentle, curious girl who loves exploring at her own pace (especially if treats are involved!). Now, she’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can finally settle down.
Ronald is the little plot twist of the McDonald’s litter.
Despite her name, Ronald is actually a girl! She loves playing with cat springs and is looking for a forever home alongside her sister McFlurry.
McFlurry is the foodie of the McDonald’s litter.
She’s always first in line for dinner, and she’s loves chasing a feather wand.
She’s looking for a loving forever home alongside her sister Ronald.

Valentina came to Wellcat after her previous owner sadly passed away, and her new living arrangements didn’t quite work out. Despite all the changes she’s been through, she’s a very sweet, affectionate girl who loves cuddles and attention! She’s looking for a loving forever home where she can settle down and enjoy all the fuss she deserves.

Goose had a very difficult start in life, having been born prematurely, and his survival was nothing short of a little miracle.
But this little fighter has come such a long way, growing into a playful, vocal and affectionate boy.
Now, he’s ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive.

Before adopting...
We know how easy it is to fall in love with a particular cat, and you’re always welcome to let us know if someone has caught your eye. However, the health and happiness of our cats will always come first for us.
For this reason, we’ll carefully consider your home, lifestyle, family situation and circumstances to make sure that the cat you’re interested in is the right match for you, and that you’re the right match for them. For example, you might have a dog at home and be interested in a cat who isn’t comfortable living with dogs.
We’ll always keep your preferences in mind, but we can’t guarantee that you’ll adopt the cat you initially chose. Sometimes, another cat may be a much better fit for your home and lifestyle.
Our adoption process is simple: once you’ve filled out our adoption form, we’ll review it and ask you to provide a short video home check showing the ground floor of your home and the street outside. Once approved, we’ll invite you to visit the rescue and meet our cats, so we can help you find your ideal companion.
When everyone is happy with the match, we’ll ask for photo ID and proof of address before arranging a date for you to bring your new furry friend home.
